FithOps™ Camp Safe™ 12 Gauge Perimeter Trip / RESCUE Alarm*

Our newest, updated version of our 12 gauge perimeter trip alarm with our load collar that screws up onto the device. Made of 6061 Aluminum, this unit utilizes a spring-loaded firing mechanism and a trip trigger. When the trigger pin is disturbed while loaded with a 12 gauge Orion rounds, the unit will discharge. This device is compatible with Orion blanks, .22 cal & 209 adapters, Orion 12 ga. flares and Orion Pest Scare.

You can now use our famous Perimeter Trip Alarm as a flare launcher, while also having the same trip alarm functionality. Use it as a backup or save space by completely removing your flare launcher from your kit.

Highest quality trip-wire device.

I use these FithOps alarms to scare javelinas away from
our trash barrels. They're so strong they can nudge a heavy, full barrel over by jamming theirs nose and tusks under the bottom and lifting it with their neck and head. Then it's party time. They tear into every bag and strew it's smelly gross contents
all over the road. Cleaning up after one
of these raids is disgusting and infuriating. I have tried many ways to scare them off but they're fearless and
scrappy. These perimeter alarms do the job.

Here's a couple tips for anyone who is new to these:

The very last step in setting your trip-wire is loading the flash-bang. It's too easy to have an accident if you try to wire up a loaded alarm.

Next, consider the height of the animal you are trying to discourage. I'm not concerned about squirrels, rabbits, or raccoons, and I absolutely do not want to startle a skunk, so I leave space for them to pass under. I use 20 to 24 inches high.

Finally, some of the rounds used in these devices create high heat, so clear away anything flammable from the ground around your device: leaves, pine needles etc.
