Infrared Perimeter Silent Alarm

This device is a tripline-activated early warning intrusion detector which alerts the observer while the intruder remains unaware that he has activated the alarm signal. Utilizing infrared light technology, its 940nm signal is invisible to the naked eye yet very visible to night vision scopes and low-light cameras. It produces a unique pulse rate that easily distinguishes it from nearby ambient light sources. The signal can be seen up to one mile away with 3rd generation night vision viewers. Easy to operate and weather-resistant. Powered by one 9-volt battery. Size: 5” x 1.9”. Made in USA.

Sort of works but has zero functionality with FLIR Now Building my own

It works ok with the SightMark Raith night vision Active Infared sight I have. I had hoped it would give me the ability to use PASSIVE Infared of my FLIR Scout monocular.

I am now going to assemble two 9v batteries and a switch to activate a Halogen Lightbulb which will glow HOT, and it will be in a heat sleeve that allows the heat out, but no visible light will escape. Thus, a FLIR Silent alarm.

Perimeter silent alarm is an excellent product

I have a few of these. they are a great product in conjunction with NV. I Hve a PVS-14 that it works well with. I have just gone through testing and setting these up. Easy to use, just stock up on 9v batteries/rechargeable s. I highly recommend these for future events.

Nice System

This thing really puts out the light. I have a Gen 3+ NVD and in my living room it was so bright that I needed to use my safety cap when I tripped the unit and tried to rearm it. Outside I checked it at 50 yards and it was crazy bright. I would hate to wonder up and trip one of these if I had NODS as I think it would throw enough bright light out to temporarily stop or confuse you. I have a ton of 5th Ops perimeter devices and this was definitely a good addition to my ops package.
