Our newest, updated version of our 12 gauge perimeter trip alarm. Made of 6061 Aluminum, this unit utilizes a spring-loaded firing mechanism and a trip trigger. When the trigger pin is disturbed while loaded with a 12 gauge Orion rounds, the unit will discharge. This device is compatible with Orion blanks, .22 cal & 209 adapters, Orion 12 ga. flares and Orion Pest Scare.

Never use 12 gauge hulls with brass. They mushroom out making it difficult to remove. There is also a small chance of metal hitting skin or eyes if launching from hand. NEVER set up as a trip alarm with Aerial Flares.

I LIKE THEM , I CUT SOME LOW BRASS OFF OF SOME SHOTSHELL HULLS AND PRESSED 209 PRIMERS IN THEM AND THEY CRACK ABOUT LIKE A 22LR. I CUT SOME HIGH BRASS OFF OF THE HULLS AND PRIMED THEM, THEN LOADED THEM WITH 7 GR.OF FFF BLACK POWDER , USED A CARDBOARD DISK LIKE A ROLL CRIMP AND HOT GLUED THEM. THEY HAVE GOT A LOUD POP ABOUT LIKE A 12 GA LOAD. .7 GR. OF FFF DID NOT BULGE THE REMINGTON BRASS.

We live in a rural area of East TN and have had about a dozen Black Bear encounters. I purchased 2 Camp Safe 12 Gauge Perimeter Gen4 Trip Alarms. These alarms a super easy to set up. The Gen4's are durable and work great. Recently bought 3 more to put near our chicken coop. Great product and awesome company!

Wonderful little tools, and very well made

This is my second Gen4. Great little tools! They are well made, easy to set up, and are very reliable. You can accessorize with string and hardware pieces from your local store, but Fith Ops has a very nice hardware kit that gives you everything you need to deploy the alarms. To arm the alarms, you will need flash bangs, blanks, or 209 primers, depending upon the option you purchase. Although I was able to find 209 primers locally, there are no blanks to be had at any of the stores in my area, so you might want to buy them from Fith Ops as well.
I'm very happy with my purchases. You can tell when something is made with pride and these fit that definition.
