Not happy at all with products that I have purchased. And I certainly would not recommend using the Trip Alarms in Bear Country for a perimeter warning device. Most likely wouldn't know about a Bear until the BITE.
Success rate on the Trip Alarms and 12-gauge Flash Bangs, 12-gauge Waterproof Blanks, .22 Caliber Trip Alarms, Primers, that I have used is maybe 30 %. Not dependable at all. Sent them an email about it since i couldn't get them to answer the phone, they finally responded with an email, they didn't want to lose my business, wanted to make it right. Haven't heard or seen anything since,
$200.00 + in one month with them for a 30% effective performance rate.
One of the 12-gauge Trip Alarms even has rust forming on it.
I hate to put out a response like this, ESPECIALLY on a Veteran owned company but I'm very disappointed.
I have 3–12-gauge Trip Alams out now to deter Wild Hogs & Coyotes along with 2-legged Varmints. The longest stretch of Trip Wire/Cord is 1 @ 32'ft 2 @ 26'ft.
I have multiple 12-gauge Flash Bangs & 12 -gauge Waterproof Blanks that the Primer was hit with the firing pin but did not fire.
When the 30% does work for the Hogs & Coyotes, Stray Dogs, Fox, it works great, but I need something more consistent & dependable.
Sorry Fith Ops.
